Daniel Frank Pajkurich was born in Erial, New Jersey in 1981 to Frank Anton Pajkurich and Susan Lorraine Pajkurich. He is the eldest of three siblings, his younger siblings being Frank and Stacey. Raised in Gloucester Township he attended James W. Lilley Elementary, Charles W. Lewis Middle School, and graduated from Highland Regional High School with the class of 2000.
A lifelong lover of stories, Daniel’s imagination was first sparked by bedtime tales from his mother and early encounters with mythological epics like The Twelve Labors of Hercules. That passion for fantasy, science fiction, and horror followed him into adulthood and became the foundation of his writing voice, one that blends richly imagined worlds with emotionally grounded characters.
In 2011, a work promotion took him to Coldwater, Mississippi, where he witnessed firsthand the devastation of historic flooding, an experience that would later inform the stakes and realism of his fictional worlds. It was there that he met his future wife, Paige Michelle McKnight, and her children, Jesse and Megan, who became his greatest inspirations and motivation to strive for more.
Daniel and Paige were married in early 2020, just before the COVID-19 pandemic swept through Mississippi. In 2022, they relocated to Lincoln, Nebraska, for another career advancement. That same year, he began pursuing higher education at Bellevue University, where he continues to be honored on the Dean’s List. In 2023, their family grew once more with the birth of their grandson, Rowan Lee McGlothlen.
An avid tabletop roleplaying game enthusiast, Daniel has spent years crafting stories and guiding players through worlds of peril and wonder. He now brings those same skills to the page as he works on his debut novel, The Eldergloom Chronicles- Wielder of the Wraitherfire.
